Tickets for the First Annual All-Class Mustang Family Reunion Dance
Will Go On Sale Thanksgiving Weekend
Tickets for the First Annual All-Class Mustang Reunion dance will go on sale at the Rumble on the Ridge (FCHS Mustang Arena), between Thursday, November 28 and Saturday, November 30, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. each day. The dance will be held Saturday, December 27 at the Civic Center, from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. and is open only to adults 30 years and older. Tickets for the dance are $15 in advance and $20 on the date of the event. Organizations and groups of individuals wishing to reserve tables can purchase a table of 8 for $160, which includes confirmed seats and a liquor set-up (beverages and ice for 8). Dress code (no jeans, street wear, caps, etc.) and age requirements will be enforced.
The Mustang Reunion Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2003 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Salem Church Community Center (105 Haven Street). Organizers are asking that family members bring pictures of deceased FCHS alums for display before and after the service. Former, retired, and current administrators, teachers, staff members, hall of fame awardees, etc., are especially encouraged to attend so that the community can express its appreciation for your years of service.
Organizers are interested in creating a souvenir program booklet for the memorial service. They anticipate hundreds of people coming to town and spending money that will stimulate the local economy, so the souvenir program will include a section for redeemable coupons at a charge of $100. Citizens, high school organizations, etc., wishing to place memorial ads in the program can do so for the following prices ($100 – full page; $50 – half page; $25 – ¼ page; and $15 for 1/8 page). December 15 is the deadline to submit materials. Individuals with historic photographs of FCHS and FCHS-related events are also encouraged to submit pictures (no charge) for inclusion in the booklet. Organizers will accept pictures, along with identifying information, at the Rumble on the Ridge at the hours mentioned above and will return them.
