Systems is committed to developing a quality relationship with its clients (home & business), instructors, business partners & sub-contractors, which is based on integrity and trust.  Because of this, we understand the need to protect the privacy of all data that is shared with us on our WebSite as well as within our business offices and among our partners.  This Privacy Statement will outline some specifics as it pertains to data sharing on this site.

CLP, Inc. Systems realizes that with a variety of clients, we must also adhere and comply to the HIPAA Act of 1996, Title II for an addition of the this Privacy Statement.  We are not a medical organization, but we want the medical community to know that we support this Act of Public Law.  The following links are for such agreements:

How Information is Collected

Initially, www.CLPIncSystems.Net will only log IP addresses via on-line forms; however, we will use cookies.  Cookies are pieces of information generated by a web server and stored in the user's computer, ready for future access.  These cookies will be used when you are attempting to make contact with CLP, Inc. Security of Information

To provide the utmost protection of sensitive information, we will use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).  128-bit encryption will be used and required for all users within the United States and Canada; and 64-, 56-, or 40-bit encryption will be used for international users with the exception of transactions through financial institutions which will use a 128-bit SGC (Server Gated Crypto) Certificate.

• Server Gated Crypto, an extension to the secure sockets layer (SSL) security protocol, provides a financial institution's server with the ability to "switch on" 128-bit encryption if an SGC digital certificate is present.  A separate SGC upgrade enables the client software to query the server for the presence of an SGC digital certificate during a digital "handshake" with the financial institution's server.  If the client software detects a digital certificate, the session is established using 128-bit encryption.  If a certificate is not detected, the client and server negotiate the highest level of mutually available encryption.  For information click on this MicroSoft link.
